The D-I20 Register announces the first rankings of the 2007 college football season will be released on Sunday, September 23. Initial plans were to release one week early after most teams had played a quarter of their games. The extra week of games - when a majority of teams will have played one-third of their games - will afford better data for assessing the initial order of the 120 teams.
*Note: Western Kentucky is in a transitional year of I-A membership and has been added to Register for the 2007 season.
